Topos Double Sigma Open Frame mixer possess a proven, uniquely designed bowl and Double Sigma agitator with overlapping design for more efficient mixing.
The reinforced mixing bowl, the bowl canopy, the main shaft and the Double Sigma agitator are all solid stainless steel.
The mixer is equipped with a heavy duty double bowl jacket for heating or cooling the mixture.
The bowl jacket has five (5) years “No Leak” warranty.
Bowl tilting up to 110° is a standard and up to 160° optional.
The bowl tilting is provided by a heavy duty hydraulic tilting package Hytos including a manual hand pump for problem free tilting during power outages and during Lock-out/Tag out.
The main agitator is driven by a heavy duty, high efficiency, SEW gear-motor drive with a hollow shaft, that can be two (2) speeds or VFD rated.

Mixer design is Open Frame Sanitary Design with no hidden areas to collect water, flour, pathogens, or allergens, allowing for easy access to all surfaces inside and out and for complete and easy sanitation.
Daily maintenance of the mixer requires no use of tools.
Front and back “bowl to bowl” edge seals and the hand knobs on both the front and the rear edge of the bowl mixing canopy can be easily removed and cleaned.
The triple set of sanitary designed main shaft seals on each end of the main shaft can be also easy removed, cleaned and maintained without the use of tools.
Sanitary, NEMA 4 wiring runs from the control enclosures to the electrical devices, all mounted in a “Stand Off” sanitary fashion.
